放棄暴力 放棄對立 努力為台灣打拼！
和平穩定的生活是台灣人民的期望，更是全球人類的共同期盼！
美國台海專家郝志堅（Dennis Hichey）於日前，在權威期刊「外交家（The Diplomat）」中指出，美國擔憂民進黨已背離民主（There are concerns that the DPP has given up on democracy.）及有71%的美國人民反對美國出兵防衛台灣（The overwhelming majority of the American public (71%) opposes sending troops to defend Taiwan if it is attacked by China.）。民進黨背離民主的行為，也將促使美國政府重新評估台美關係。
⋯⋯郝志堅該文更強調：中國大陸已是全球第二大經濟體，更是世界第三大軍事強權，美國需要中國配合以應付全球問題（The U.S. needs China’s cooperation to cope with a wide range of pressing global problems.），及台灣始終是中美關係核心問題之一等；也肯定自2008年以來在國民黨執政下，兩岸關係維持和平穩定的發展（Relations between Taipei and Beijing have improved enormously since 2008.）。任何背棄民主的作為，將危及台灣之安全。郝志堅亦認為即便美國政府同意出兵協防，美國也難以取得友邦如加拿大、澳洲或歐盟等的共同支持（The U.S. is Taiwan’s primary security partner and the only country that might provide it with military support in a conflict with China. In the event of war, there will be no “coalition of the willing.” .....America cannot expect assistance from Canada, Australia, or any country in Europe.）。
台灣最美的風景是人， 「天下為公」、「世界大同」更是我們長期追尋的目標。誠懇呼籲全民「放棄暴力」、「放棄對立」！也誠懇呼籲候選人們，提出可讓台灣的經濟及自由民主發展更好的具體政見，用實質辯論展現實力，許台灣人民美好的未來！
